28 janvier Goals for Valentines dayI have set some goals for myself and I just wanted to share them. See if I say them or write them, then I hold myself accountable. I have not been under 200 pounds in 3 years and I am so ready to see myself get into the 100's and say goodbye to the 200's FOREVER! Valentines day is coming and I want to feel good, and one way I can do that is to drop below that 200 pound line. So my short term goal is to reach under 200 by Valentines Day. I weighed in last Tuesday at 213.5 so I have 14.5 pounds to lose by then at least. WIsh me luck. One of the ways I intend on doing that is to increase my daily excercise. I have been working out on my treadmill, but I have another plan too. I am a massage therapist, and my office is at the end of a hall way, so I have set my mind to walking that hallway while my clients are changing, both before and after their massages, and on my lunch. I already have been making myself drink a glass of water between each client, and that has really helped me feel better. Well wish me luck. The reason I say Valentines day is because my one year anniversary (yeah!!) is towards the end of the month and nothing would make me happier to feel better about myself , which in turn will help both my husband and I. Heck maybe then I can by a little something nice for our anniversary:)
take care all and thank you for all your support
Patty 26 janvier Its Saturday:)It is Saturday and what a nice beautiful day it is. My husband David is out getting excersise(shoveling snow).I was out there but wanted to take a break and just add some thoughts on here. We have had trouble with our computer lately so I haven't had the opportunity to enter information on here as much as I would like. This week I feel has been a better week for us, hopefully when we weigh in on Tuesday the scale agrees
Dave and Patty 16 janvier Week 2 was rough! This week for some reason was much harder than week 1. Many more temptations and less time exercising. WOW, what a difference a week made. Well we know exactly where we went wrong 4 janvier Why we want to WINHi my name is Patty and my husband is David. We just got married Feb 23rd 2007! Both of us are BIG fans of the Biggest Loser,we watch the show every season and are very excited to be joingin as contestants in the Biggest Loser Couples Million Pound Matchup! We are entering this contest to win...to win a healthier life. Losing is not an option, except when the subject is WEIGHT! Now this will mean that David must give up his cookies and poptarts, and I will give up...we where do I start? But as much as we LOVE food, and we do. We LOVE each other and our family more. Lets face it I am 5'2" 226 pounds (a heart attack waiting to happen) and David is 6'2" at 291 pounds (not a picture of great health either), if we want to be around for old age, we better do something about this NOW.So this is it, no more procrastinating. Last year we took a vow to LOVE, Honor and Cherish till death do us part(now frankly I don't want that to happen any time soon) so this year we are making another lifelong commitment to LOVE,Honor,Lose Weight, and get Healthy. We will suceed because we want to see our children and our children's children grow up. We want to be able to join our entire family in activities and not be to tired. So to anwser the quetions why should we win? Together we have been making our dreams come true. Losing weight, getting healthy, living a long life, that is our goal soon to be our reality:)Join us on our journey and send us to join the Biggest Loser Finale! |
